I´m using the Genius iSlim 321R with the latest downloadable version from the website. I´m running the software on my desktop pc (Windows 7) as on my notebook (Windows XP SP3). On both computers the camera gets regognized correctly (Under Windows XP as USB Camera only, but it is working nevertheless) and by the ITU Gaze Tracker Software, too. Changing the video resolution brings the infrared LED´s to life, so everything is behaving as supposed to.
The first strange behaviour is on the XP machine. When I try to check the "pupil" tracking mode it doesn´t get checked. Also the "glinz" option refuses to get checked. But as I see green surfaces in the recorded image and no blue ones I suppose the pupil mode is already activated. The windows 7 machine doesn´t have this mysterious behaviour.
But nevertheless in both machines I got the calibration to work. On my second try I already scored 4 stars
In pleasant anticipation I finished the calibration process and started the tracker, but the mouse doesn´t move at all! I can reproduce this behaviour on both pc´s and so it is quite improbably that the reason is some (unknown) missconfiguration of the Windows system... So something else has to go completly wrong ... but what? It would be glad if someone can help me out of this pitty...
I did everything exactly as I described above, everything double or even tripple checked.
Thanks,
Elias
